A video projected onto an enormous screen, Matter explores composition, space and volume using Rodin’s The Thinker as a basis. A magician of new techniques, the London-based artist Quayola reduces the famous sculpture into increasingly simple geometric forms, which he then allows to grow organically to (re)produce an object of fascinating beauty.
