Three Voices
De Munt – La Monnaie with Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel & enoa [BE, IL, USA]
Morton Feldman wrote the composition Three Voices and commissioned it to the singer Joan La Barbara. Young singers coached by her will now perform this iconic piece of Minimal Music under the direction of Sjaron Minailo. He recently signed up as director of the contemporary opera production Medúlla by Björk. Three Voices is a large concert piece for a solo voice and two tapes who rewards the listeners with an amazing range of rhythms, colours and emotions.
